New Construction Framing
Complete residential framing packages from slab to ridge. We work with GCs, builders, and owner-builders across a 60-mile radius of Grove, OK.
A new home build lives or dies by how well the framing phase is managed. Delays in framing delay every trade behind it. Mistakes in framing create problems that are expensive to fix after the fact. We've been delivering new construction framing packages across northeast Oklahoma for more than 20 years — on schedule and built right.
Complete Framing Package
Artisan Framing handles the full framing scope on new residential construction:
- Mudsill and pressure-treated sill plate installation
- Floor joist and engineered lumber (LVL, I-joist) installation
- Sub-floor (OSB/plywood) installation and gluing
- First and second floor wall framing — exterior and interior
- All door and window rough openings
- Stair framing
- Roof framing — conventional stick or engineered truss setting
- Roof sheathing and dry-in preparation (housewrap-ready)
- Structural blocking, fire blocking, and backer installation
Working With General Contractors
We've worked with GCs across northeast Oklahoma long enough to understand what they need from a framing sub: show up when you say you will, frame it right, communicate about conditions that affect other trades, and don't create callbacks. That's the job. We've built those relationships over 20 years by doing it consistently.
Owner-Builders
Owner-builders get a straight conversation about their project. If you're managing your own build, we'll explain what we need from you (foundation ready, plans approved, materials staged) and what you can expect from us — timeline, crew size, and communication through the framing phase. No contractor runaround.
Plan Review and Material Takeoff
For larger new construction projects, we'll review your plans before quoting, identify any framing coordination issues (engineered lumber requirements, beam pockets, point loads), and give you a complete material takeoff so you can order accurately. Fewer material trips means a faster frame.
