Our Process
A clear framing process helps protect the schedule, the budget, and the finished home.
Good framing starts before lumber is set. Artisan Framing keeps the work clear from first conversation through final walkthrough so homeowners, builders, and other trades know what is happening next.
1. Project fit and scope
We review the address, project type, drawings when available, rough schedule, and access needs. If the job is outside our normal coverage or does not fit our residential focus, we say so early.
2. Walkthrough or plan review
For new builds, additions, and structural remodels, we look at framing details, openings, rooflines, tie-ins, and sequencing. For trim and window work, we confirm materials, measurements, and finish expectations.
3. Straight estimate
You receive a clear estimate based on the work discussed. Any assumptions, owner-supplied materials, or items that need confirmation are called out before work begins.
4. Framing and coordination
Our crew focuses on square openings, clean lines, safe staging, and communication with the people responsible for inspections and the next trade.
5. Final review
Before we wrap up, we review the work area, confirm the agreed scope, and address obvious issues while the crew and tools are still on site.
